Shuttle Bus pick up from LAX
1:00 PM - 5:00 PM, FantaSea Yachts
Set sail with TruAmerica colleagues on a luxurious yacht around the Marina Del Rey Harbor.
Colleagues will be able to board the Yacht as early as 1:00pm. The Yacht will set sail at 3:00pm.
5:00 PM - 7:00 PM, Killer Shrimp Restaurant
Dock at Killer Shrimp for a plated dinner with colleagues to celebrate the Firm's success.
7:00 PM - 9:00 PM, Killer Shrimp Speakeasy
End the evening at Killer Shrimp's Speakeasy for a "mixing speak-easy jazz, funky bass lines, horns and the smoky, soulful voice of Toledo."

Why the Registration & RSVP Requirement
Please RSVP by July 1st, 2022
Punctual attendance and professional decorum is required for the Three Day Corporate Event.
The Three Day Corporate Event is not optional. There are two recreational events that are optional.
Colleagues do have the option to decline attendance, to optional events only.
The registration RSVP allows for accurate aggregation of customized data such as food/ allergy preferences that are required for certain events.

Dress Code: Summer Casual
All colleagues are expected to comply with this dress code in a manner consistent with their gender identity and expression. Colleagues who report to work inappropriately attired will be asked to leave work to change clothes.
T-shirts (no graphics).
Polo Shirts.
Khakis.
Denim jeans.
Capri pants.
Company logo wear.
Dresses or skirts
Dressy sandals.
Casual shoes including clean athletic shoes.
Clothing must be neat and clean and not ripped, frayed, disheveled, ill-fitting, stained or messy, revealing or otherwise inappropriate. No flip flops.

Corporate Policy Reminder
TruAmerica's Drug and Alcohol Policy:
Please remember to not over indulge and if you are planning to drive please limit your alcohol consumption and make plans with a pre-designated driver. Alcoholic beverages will cease being served one hour before the planned close of the party; non-alcoholic beverages will continue to be available. Colleagues who are not of legal age should not request them, nor will they be permitted to consume alcohol. We will have professional bartenders. Colleagues are not permitted to serve alcohol.
Comportment: Remember that you are still held to company rules about harassing behavior. Please use only language which would be appropriate for the workplace setting. The company workplace harassment policies are in effect even at the event.

Travel
Colleagues seeking reimbursement should incur the lowest reasonable travel expenses and exercise care to avoid impropriety or the appearance of impropriety. Reimbursement is allowed only when reimbursement has not been, and will not be, received from other sources. If a circumstance arises that is not specifically covered in this travel policy, then the most conservative course of action should be taken.

Attendance
Colleague attendance is mandatory for all training events. Attendance and punctuality by colleagues is important to maintain high levels of productivity and achieve company and department goals.

Safety
Colleagues must be fully vaccinated to attend the three day corporate retreat. At this time, a vaccination mandate is job-related to attend and consistent with business necessity.
Colleagues are required to test negative for Covid-19 before attending the three day corporate retreat.
TruAmerica will reimburse employees for Covid-19 related testing related to the three day event
Colleagues are required to self check for Covid-19 daily. Please utilize the Covid -19 Self Checker below that is powered by the Center for Disease Control.
